Director of Studies
I completed two Bachelor Degrees at Old Dominion University, one for French and one for Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in International Studies. During my academic career, I participated in foreign exchange with the University of Guadalajara in Mexico and the University Paul Valerie of Montpéllier in France. I graduated cum laude in 2009 and have since been dedicated to teaching foreign language.
I have been tutoring and giving private lessons for over 15 years. From 2009-2011, I taught English with the Spanish Department of Education in Bilbao and Malagá, Spain. Since I returned to the USA, I have devoted my efforts to opening a language school in my hometown to try to replicate the advanced language studies I saw in Europe. I strongly believe from first-hand experience that foreign language opens doors and encourages personal growth. I hope to share my passion of culture and foreign language in order to make my own students better global citizens.
I'm married and reside in Virginia Beach. Of course, I enjoy traveling, everywhere and anywhere! I also like to cook (and EAT!) and visit with sisters from the mosque.
