I earned two Bachelor Degrees at Old Dominion University, one for French and one for Spanish Language and Literature with a minor in International Studies. During my academic career, I participated in foreign exchange with the University of Guadalajara in Mexico and the University Paul Valerie of Montpéllier in France. I graduated cum laude in 2009 and have since been dedicated to teaching foreign language.
I have been tutoring and giving private lessons for over 15 years. From 2009-2011, I taught English with the Spanish Department of Education in Bilbao and Malagá, Spain. Since I returned to the USA, I have devoted my efforts to opening a language school in my hometown to try to replicate the advanced language studies I saw in Europe. I strongly believe from first-hand experience that foreign language opens doors and encourages personal growth. I hope to share my passion of culture and foreign language in order to make my own students better global citizens.
I'm married with twin boys and reside in Virginia Beach. Of course, I enjoy traveling, everywhere and anywhere! I also like to cook (and EAT!) and visit with sisters from the mosque.
